Meet Galatea , the 6 year old Friesian I fell in love with this week! Galatea is a gorgeous black Friesian Mare , who is trained by Wendell Jones, Jr in Washington Boro. Pennsylvania. Galatea introduced herself to me by sniffing me, batting her lashes at me and waving her supermodel hair in my face and then , she practically ballroom danced around the ring for her jog out. What a Girl!!! I wanted to appraise her for $1,000,000.00 but came to my senses and realized I would probably forever lose my license to appraise. Galatea is alert, friendly and gorgeous. I absoloutely fell in love. And, I have to give a shout out to Wendell jones, Jr. who is Galatea's trainer and coincidentially the son of my original trainer ! Small world, and fun coincidence running into Wendell after all these years. We had a lot of fun catching up.
Thank you for the work, Erin!!
Our Services

An Equine Appraisal is more then just a piece of paper stating the supposed value of your animal. An Equine Appraisal is used to establish current ( within the last year ) market value of your horse. We use research such as trade periodicals stating resale values , auctions, private agreements of sales , web based marketplace findings and our extensive personal knowledge. Having a licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine is an added bonus to the quality and validity of your appraisal because a Doctor is able to see things in the horse and the horse's composition and overall health that lay people are not trained to see.
Equine Appraisals are used for the following purposes:
Litigation
Insurance Claims
Personal Property Disputes ( horses are considered personal property in the eyes of the law )
Divorce proceedings
Bankruptcy
Pre Purchase Exams
Breeding
Stallion Collection and AI justification
Showing Prospects
Personal Peace of Mind
Equine Health and Medical Care Insurance valuations
Resale
Donation
Tax Assessments
and many , many more reasons.
